The mask on the chair behind the mayor reminded me of one of the Mask Salesman’s masks, so I went back to compare the two… but what I found interesting was how the stressed and depressed Mayor’s is so happy whereas the Happy Mask Salesman’s is sad.
it might just be a coincidence but these are the only two masks with that kind of design on them to the extent of my p vast mm knowledge so i think it’s interesting

I always thought it was the gibdo mask but now I’m very intrigued
maybe the mask feeds off of suffering/pain??
because the mask salesman is happy it shows a distressed expression whereas the mayor is upset and melancholic and the mask seems energized by it.
